If you don’t know who Vitamin Strign Quartet is then you are totally missing out. I found them on You Tube, but they also are on iTunes where you can purchuse their music. What they do is take popular music from today and well, really any from the past and turn them inot string renditions. Many of these turn any number off songs into beautiful string and vocaless versions of these songs.
Their latest rendition is Taylor Swift’s “Safe & Sound” which is from “The Hunger Games” soundtrack. The song already is played by a bluegrass band, so it already had that string sound. What they have done is more traditional and it is very beautiful. Take a listen below:
