True Blood Season Four Blu-Ray

Yesterday I went to Best Buy and purchased one of the best and well put together shows on television at the moment.I am of course talking about True Blood. Season four came out Tuesday giving all of us enough time to watch it for the first time, or rewatch it for the season five premiere which starts June 10 on HBO. I started with disc one which held episodes one and two. I was just going to watch those two episodes before going to bed, but episode two left me wanting more. So, I pop in disc two which hold episodes 3-5, which I watched all of them. I hate leaving an unwatched episode on a disc, so I finished all three episodes. That would be why I am up at such an early/late hour. I wanted to continue, but even I knew I needed a break from Bom Temps and I need to go to bed after I am done writing this.

One cool feature which other season of shows on Blu-Ray probably have is the seamless watch feature. When I read that it had this feature, I was left asking myself how that was even possible. At the end of episode two I let it run through the credits and then it tells me to insert disc two to watch the next episode. I do this and the next episodes starts immediately. I think Blu-Ray is worth it just for that feature. No loading or annoying adverts because it is a “new” disc. I’m not sure how it does it, except maybe because of the internet connection? I’m not computer whiz.

So far I feel like season four is pretty good, obviously it had me addicted like someone addicted to vampire blood. I had heard that it wasn’t as good as the first three, but so far I have no complaints and find it comparable to the other seasons in entertainment value. It is hard to believe back in season one that Sookie was still so innocent and it’s weird to see how things have evolved. The evolution is what makes this show seem real. Like in life the show evolves and the characters grow, change, and adapt to what is happening to them. Can’t wait to finish this season up, probably on Saturday, and then start season five. I hope to have HBO.
